Welcome to my Garden;

I’m Katie Rose, a Western North Carolina–based artist who’s been painting since my teenage years—though really, I’ve been a lover of paint and color for as long as I can remember. Inspired by wildflowers, the rolling layers of the Blue Ridge, and the everyday textures of nature, I fill my canvases with bold, layered acrylics and often tuck in folk-inspired patterns—my own whimsical little touches that make each painting feel both familiar and magically one-of-a-kind.

You can find my work online, at local markets, and in shops—each piece an invitation to bring a cozy spark of joy and color into your home.

Our painting is STUNNING. I can’t stop looking at it. I plan to hang it in our bedroom over our bed to remind us daily of the commitment we made to each other. What a perfect way to preserve a memory from our favorite day. So glad Katie and her art will live in our home forever.

Meet Katie Rose

Katie is an artist based in the countryside of Western North Carolina who creates whimsical floral paintings inspired by the meadows and flora around her. Her style is inspired by a long love of colorful geometric patterns found in Moroccan tiles, mandalas, and mosaics—an inspiration that eventually led her to wrapping these patterns around the borders of her canvases in a freer, more expressive way. Her hope is to share bits of joy with hints of color in a world that can sometimes feel a little black and white.

Additionally, she leads Art and Yoga workshops, combining creativity and wellness to foster community and personal transformation. She has a deep passion for advocating inside-out change and bringing people together, reminding them of the joy of themselves, and the joy of life.
