Katie Rose is a Western North Carolina–based artist who has been painting since her teenage years, though she has been creative for as long as she can remember. Inspired by the landscapes around her—especially flowers—she often weaves bold patterns around the edges of her canvases, honoring her love for mandalas. She layers acrylics with bold strokes to create movement and depth, using a variety of colors to bring each painting joyfully to life.
